At Equator Bottlers we believe in consumer and customer satisfaction by producing and delivering refreshing Carbonated Soft Drinks of the highest quality. Quality shows itself in our every action; it encompasses everything we do, every employee takes this policy seriously and works tirelessly to ensure we keep our promise of quality products and services.

Food safety is our fundamental responsibility in ensuring uncompromised food safety standards and is integral to our gold standard of quality. We strive to protect our products and consumers along the entire supply chain from raw materials receipt to Customer outlets. We aspire to grow the reputation of the brands we produce and maintain consumer confidence in our products.

We believe that quality is the cornerstone of our success. This applies to all processes from purchase of raw materials, to carbonated soft drinks bottling and dispatch, by implementing a quality management system that complies to ISO 9001:2008 standard, the Coca-Cola Company requirements and all applicable legal and regulatory requirement

The establishment and implementation of this policy is supported by:

    • Management Systems - We ensure implementation of this policy, standards and procedures; ensure adequate resources are provided to achieve the plant’s objectives and ensure continual improvement in quality performance.
    • Legal and regulatory compliance – We ensure compliance to all applicable local legal requirement and TCCC requirements relating to our product quality and services.
    • Risk assessments and Management – We identify, evaluate, and address quality risks and carry out periodic assessments to ensure compliance to legal and TCCC requirements through internal and external assessments
    •  Incident Management and Crisis Resolution –IMCR – IMCR Team proactively manages all incidents in a manner that protects customers, consumers as well as the image and trademark of The Coca-Cola Company.
    • Manufacturing controls – by ensuring equipment and processes are capable and are continually assessed and monitored to produce products fit for consumption and meet specifications. All finished products are appropriately labeled and have a legible date code ensuring a two-way traceability to enable product recovery from the marketplace.
    • Distributionand market place controls – finished products are stored, handled, distributed and merchandised as per requirements to ensure quality and integrity.

To achieve this we ensure that we use competent personnel and modern manufacturing technology. We continually review and update our Management systems including company requirements (KORE) and foster continual improvement in quality performance. To this end  Equator Bottlers is certified and has maintained Certifications in FSSC 22000:2009; ISO 9001:2008; ISO 14001:2004; OHSAS 18001:2007.
